Business Development Manager - West Coast, USA

Are you interested in healthy soil and clean water? Is that something you could get behind?

Do you enjoy selling and approaching a nice variety of commercial prospects?

How about selling an organic product line to large scale farms, agribusiness concerns, bioremediation projects and wastewater treatment facilities?

Are you currently selling into any of those channels today? Given your current book of business do you believe you could expand those relationships if given the right opportunity and products?

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM)–someone capable of selling organic soil amendments to large scale agricultural companies. Candidates having sales experience to large farms, distribution warehouses, commercial orchards & nurseries, greenhouses, and/or cooperatives are desirable. Naturally if you have experience selling water treatments or land remediation projects, this role might be a great fit as well.

This is a key strategic position for the company–responsible for expanding market penetration throughout the West Coast, in ag-centric locations. Our client is looking for someone that can believe in the vision and the products and then go sell it. Ideally this person will be an important part of leadership and ownership as success takes hold. Plenty of upside here!

  • be equal parts good listener and skilled negotiator
