THE ROLE:
Our client is looking for a Biological Sales professional to build and cover a large turf of farming customers. This role pays well to those who hustle and carry a book of dealers and clients over a reasonably sized turf. Agronomy sales, agrochemical sales, seed, agronomic services and similar farm-gate sales and brokerages are considered ideal in terms of prior work experience. Our client offers a strong base salary, a vehicle (or mileage), as well as an uncapped commission structure. Ground floor opportunity with a highly respected, established international company. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify new business opportunities, qualify leads, and build a sales pipeline.
Close high-value sales deals and drive the adoption of products across your market.
Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, dealers, agricultural organizations, and industry partners.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ag degree in a science field, Agronomy or Plant Sciences, etc.
Understanding of regional agricultural variety
Sales acumen to identify, approach and sell to appropriate customers
Established customer base in the territory
Ability to communicate with producers, retailers, industry partners, etc.
Previous sales experience with biologicals, seed, fertilizers, ag chem, etc.
Self motivated
Enjoys building a business
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Base salary range: $85,000 - $125,000+
Commissions: Uncapped
Vehicle provided or mileage reimbursement arrangement (your choice).
